ChiiTech ("we", "us") provides business-management software for small and medium businesses. This
policy explains what data we collect and how it's used, in line with Nigeria's Data Protection Act
(NDPA) 2023 and the NDPR.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, company name), and business records you enter (sales,
expenses, customers, products) to operate the software. In this prototype build, all of this is stored
locally in your browser — it is not transmitted to any ChiiTech server.
How we use it
Solely to run the features you use — dashboards, audit trail, tax calculations, growth forecasts. We
do not sell business data to third parties.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see
Contact on the About page). Company admins can export their audit data directly from the Audit page.

is not liable for actions taken by a worker account the admin authorised.
Service "as is"
This build is a prototype provided for evaluation. Forecasts, audit scores, and tax estimates are
decision-support tools, not professional accounting, legal, or tax advice — verify anything material
with a licensed professional before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
ChiiTech is provided without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not
liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the software.

Cookie & Data Storage Policy
This build does not use tracking cookies. Your business data — products, sales, expenses,
customers, and everything else — is stored server-side in a managed database, not in your browser.
Your browser only holds your current sign-in session (cleared automatically when you close the tab),
kept in sessionStorage,
not a cookie. If ChiiTech adds analytics or third-party embeds later (e.g. Paystack's own checkout may
set its own cookies, governed by its own policy), this section will be updated to reflect that.
Deleting your data
Closing your browser tab ends your session but does not delete anything — your data lives on the
server, not your device. Use the account-deletion option in Settings to deactivate your account or
close your company's account; see that page for exactly what happens and how it can be undone.
Refund Policy
ChiiTech subscription billing is not yet connected to a live payment processor in this build — no
charges are currently possible, so no refunds have ever been necessary. Once billing goes live via
Paystack, this page must state clearly: what's refundable (e.g. unused subscription time), the request
process, and the processing timeframe, matching Paystack's own merchant refund rules.
